Yet more CRO rescues!
Yet more CRO rescues!
Yet more CRO rescues (see https://cro.org.uk/all-news/) in the last fortnight of people unprepared or not realising the difficulty of the walk especially this late in the year when the light is limited.
Re: Yet more CRO rescues!
God bless the men and women of CRO. This walker has sustained an ankle injury. No surprise they couldn't get back down in time.
Re: Yet more CRO rescues!
Yes indeed God bless the CRO, although at the time of posting I was referring to an incident on the 28th Sept when a group of 3 Peakers got lost and benighted coming off Ingleborough.
On such a long walk anyone can have an accident or have a health issue but to be generally unprepared/ill equipped is careless bordering on foolish.

Re: Yet more CRO rescues!
7 more incidents for the CRO to deal with since my original posting, most of whom were lost & benighted (i.e. lost on the hills after dark with no light source).
Late autumn/winter stupidity.
