Can you recommend the most scenic walks (rambles) that will be best for photography ?

I'm a keen amateur, so will be carrying my dSLR, a few lenses and a tripod, so preferably nothing too far from the nearest road !

The Ingleton Waterfalls walk, or Southerscales nature reserve are good choices. As are walks around the ribblehead viaduct - though it might be hard to get an angle thats not been done 1million times already.

Or if you want a real challenge, try and get some pictures of the inside of one of the many caves (not sure how long an exposure time you would need!
