Re: 3 Peaks over 2 days in January

Personally I'd just book an overnight stay for your first night in either Ingleton or Settle where you have good options to eat out on Day 1 evening. On Day 1 park up in the YDNPA car park in Horton-in-Ribbledale and follow the 3 Peaks route up the 'nose' of Pen-y-ghent, similarly descend along the ...

Whernside erosion

Where would you spend £50k on the 3 Peaks route? Well (taking the anti-clockwise route), the steep section off Whernside (the staircase) to the wall at the bottom of the 'staircase' (heading in the direction of Bruntscar) is probably about a 1/4 mile (400 metres) in length (steeply downhill) but cur...

Re: Rail Timetable from 20th May 2018

OK, now I've had a look at the new timetable it's apparent that from the Leeds (West Yorkshire) end there's now a timeline of over 12 hours every day of the week (yes, now even on a Sunday!). With a max timeline of (approx) 15 hours Mon-Fri, 14 hours Sat & 12 hours on a Sun. From the Carlisle end th...

Rail Timetable from 20th May 2018

Provisional details are available on the Settle-Carlisle Partnership website at https://www.settle-carlisle.co.uk. but they don't look very promising ...

Re: 3 Peaks work teambuilding fun

Pikemike, what you put in your body is your own business (providing it's legal) what someone else chooses to to put in their body is also their own business too but I would strongly advise that you should not encourage anyone within your team to take 'supplements' without them discussing this first ...
