It all depends on what the weather has been like prior to your walk,Problem with weather in U.K. these days as you see on news reports you never know what your going to get.I would advise you to carry at least one pair of spare socks each and take care.Most of all enjoy! Pay and display carpark just a few yards down from the clocking in cafe,£3.50p all day ,also toilet facilities very clean in corner of the car park,not a massive car park so depending on what time of year you go if thier will be spaces available.We went on friday 15/10/10 at 07.30 and it was empty.
