As we have said before on here - start early from Ribblehead and you tend to miss it all as you're always ahead of everyone at the start and by the time you reach Horton everyone has already left.

Having completed the route 15 times - 13 times from Horton and 2 times from Ribblehead (ALWAYS Anti-Clockwise), my intended variation this year is to do it Clockwise for the first time! Whether I start at Horton or Ribblehead remains to be seen.

Definitely dates to avoid there! Am sure it's been said on here before - but Sundays are always far quieter than Saturdays in the summer. Step in the right direction for me - flags aren't everyone's favourite thing but they make progress much easier and if time is against you they make for faster progress as well.

The flags will certainly assist on the descents - I know they're not everyone's cup of tea but can see the benefits on both of these stretches. Would be helpful if you were ascending this was as well.
